Oaklawn accepts almost all insurance coverage, including selected HMOs and PPOs. Some services are reimbursed by Medicaid or Medicare. Oaklawn staff will assist you in obtaining insurance benefits information and in developing arrangements for payment of fees. Oaklawn will file insurance claims, but cannot guarantee that services will be covered.

Assistance with fees for some services are available to residents of Indiana who qualify through the Hoosier Assurance Plan of the Indiana Division of Mental Health. Click here to see Oaklawn's Ability-to-Pay fee schedule.

Patient Assistance Program

Oaklawn is the recipient of a grant from the United Way of Elkhart County which helps provide medications to those who cannot afford them or do not have health insurance with prescription drug coverage. Oaklawn's Patient Assistant Coordinator works with pharmaceutical companies to negotiate free medications for qualifying clients. Those interested in learning more about the Patient Assistance Program should talk to their Oaklawn doctor or nurse practitioner.
