Addictions IOPs (Intensive Outpatient Programs)



Oaklawn offers several Addictions Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) which provide individualized and focused treatment for men and women, offering them renewed confidence and hope for the future. 

Addictions IOP

Addictions IOP is a mixed gender group that learn skills to become sober, and work on communication and relationship skills as well goal-setting.

Intensive Outpatient for Women

Women who are dependent on drugs and alcohol deal with a variety of unique problems. Oaklawn utilizes the Matrix Model and provides specialized addictions treatment for women. Offering them new hope for healing. Participants learn how addictions affects women differently than men. They learn skills to become clean and sober and work on communication and relationships skills as well a goal-setting.

Continuing Care

After the completion of an addictions IOP, participants begin a continuing care program which includes relapse prevention education and strategies, as well as continued supportive intervention and monitoring. The length of the program depends on the success of our client and their needs to recover and maintain success.

Family group

Family involvement in treatment is a vital component to recovery. Clients, family members, and significant others are encouraged to attend our family group therapy to discuss the impact that addiction has had on the family and relationships. Clients can continue to attend family therapy as long as they are in an addiction treatment program at Oaklawn.

Child care

Free child care is offered for any IOP or Continuing Care group in Elkhart County. Child care is located at CAPS, 1000 West Hively Avenue, next to Oaklawn. Child care must be scheduled in advance and can only be used during time spent in therapy.

Program fees

We will contact your insurance company to obtain prior approval for services. Based on your income and family size, you may be eligible for a discounted fee through the Hoosier Assurance Plan. Staff will talk with you about your particular payment arrangements.
