Psychiatric Individualized Intensive Treatment is designed for adults who:
- are currently unable to function at home, on the job, or in relationships;
- have a psychiatric diagnosis;
- need treatment that is more intensive than outpatient therapy.
What to expect
Psychiatric Individualized Intensive Treatment is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., at 330 Lakeview Drive, Goshen.
Treatment is structured to meet the client's individual needs with clients participating in setting goals and developing treatment plans. The frequency of participation is matched with the severity of the problems. The length of stay varies, but often consists of 25-30 sessions. Clients will be scheduled to meet with a clinician for individualized treatment planning and orientation prior to entering the program.
Group therapy, educational sessions regarding diagnosis and mental health issues, and individual assignments are included in the program. Medication management and individual and family therapy sessions are scheduled as needed.
Each program component has a separate charge. We will contact your insurance company to obtain prior approval for services. Based on your income and family size, you may be eligible for a discounted fee through the Hoosier Assurance Plan. Staff will talk with you about your particular payment arrangements.
